Jo at work
I started my career as a cashier in a local RBS branch 17 years ago. I later became chief cashier and was responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch.
In 2009, I became a business adviser with NatWest. My primary role was to support a group of local business relationship managers by arranging client meetings, liaising with solicitors and the bank’s underwriters on property purchases, and being a consistent point of contact for clients with banking queries.
I was made redundant from NatWest in May 2017, and my little boy was born a month later. I then spent a wonderful 13 months on maternity leave before embarking on my Stonegate career in July 2018!
My day-to-day role here varies; however, my main duties include contacting providers for policy information, engaging in the client review process (initial contact, formatting review files, and finalising the recommendation), producing management information (MI) and preparing invoices.
